Responsible for engineering projects by managing day to day engineering and technical aspects of projects. Including develop, monitor and manage project schedules to meet KPIs. Duties and Responsibilities
The associate\xe2\x80\x99s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
  • Lead projects through the project management lifecycle
  • Complete all project-related documentation and deliverables
  • Develop, monitor, and manage the project lifecycle
  • Research potential solutions and gather information for projects
  • Organize meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Assisting Engineering Manager in site mobilization, resource planning
  • Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of large-scale projects, cross-divisional highly complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed environment.
  • Maintain constant follow up with engineering manager in status of current and ongoing assigned projects.
  • Assist in design and layouts with computer aided software
  • Identify specific safety hazards associated with planned activities.
  • Estimate required work hours associated with work order tasks and total work duration.
  • Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations and commits to ensuring a safe environment for all team members.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
  • Synergize with third party contractors to perform Work Orders deemed as work that cannot be performed by an RDJ labour source. IE. Building Maintenance
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Degree required in a technical field and 1 - 3 years of scheduling / planning experience and/or 5 - 10 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both.
  • Demonstrated knowledge/Experience of successful project management
  • Computer Aided design experience (CAD)
  • Experience in an industrial environment preferred.
  • Electrical/mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Project management and capital project experience preferred Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
