Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, or industrial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise installations and repairs Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repair projects Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications Adhere to safety protocols and building codes during all phases of work Assist in troubleshooting HVAC or mechanical issues related to plumbing systems when necessary Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC, maintenance, or construction environments Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams accurately Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs Experience with carpentry or assembly work is advantageous Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various working conditions Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex plumbing issues Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding project requirements
