The JCC is looking for a House League Coordinator who can take ownership of the logistics and on-court flow of our basketball program. Are YOU our next JCC Basketball House League Coordinator?
The House League Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing all on-court aspects of the basketball house league program. This includes delivering high-quality weekly sessions, supporting the coaching staff and maintaining a fun, safe, and well-organized environment for players of all skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all on-court sessions, including warmups, skill development, team drills, scrimmages, and games
Support and mentor coaches during sessions, ensuring alignment with league philosophy and weekly plans
Collaborate with technical staff to implement a consistent, age-appropriate developmental curriculum
Ensure proper setup and tear down of all on-court equipment before and after each session
Manage the inventory of basketballs, nets, cones, and other on-court equipment, ensuring items are in good condition and accessible
Oversee jersey distribution as needed, maintaining an accurate inventory and assisting with uniform organization
Keep the gym and equipment storage areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the program
Address any on-court issues related to safety, player behavior, or session flow
Foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic environment that promotes learning, effort, and sportsmanship
What do you bring?
NCCP Certified (or willingness to complete certification)
Successful clearance of Vulnerable Sector Screening
Previous experience coaching teams is an asset
Demonstrated organizational, planning and problem solving skills
Able to lead with confidence, empathy, and high expectations
Able to be
on site
for events and games at all locations
