We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated, highly organized, driven and experienced Executive Assistants to support Senators\' Offices in managing and prioritizing competing demands in a fast paced, results-focused environment. Your passion for excellence and quality service must be second to none. Successful incumbents will bring expertise in a broad range of administrative areas and must possess a strong ability to communicate effectively across numerous channels, demonstrate a high level of autonomy, and show high effectiveness in managing a variety of tasks and offering assistance to the public or other team members as required.

Prerequisites
- Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field or a combination of education, training and related work experience;
- Experience providing administrative and financial services in an office environment such as writing formal correspondence, briefing materials and reports, formatting documents, organizing and scheduling meetings and managing electronic filing systems;
- Experience in dealing with senior officials, parliamentarians and the media;
- Experience in using the MS-Office suite and other systems supported by the Senate;
- Bilingual or English essential or French essential;
- Detail oriented, well organized, and able to coordinate and multitask competing priorities and timelines;
- Strong research, analytical and communication skills as they relate to policy review and legislative rules and procedures;
- Experience coordinating travel arrangements and monitoring expenditures and/or budget tracking is considered an asset;
- Experience and aptitude working with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) is considered an asset.
