Responsibilities

• Leading the integration and testing of the system.
• Producing test estimates from the requirements
• Identifying test tools to support testing
• Leading the integration of the components delivered from the development teams.
• Designing and Writing Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts for the project to verify that the requirements have been met
• Identifying and setting up test data and simulators
• Carrying out integration and test activities in accordance with the agreed plans,

specifications and descriptions / scripts. This will include executing test scripts,
recording results and storing evidence

• Working in accordance with defined project processes and procedures
• Defining and monitoring of the productivity metrics to be used for monitoring test

progress.

• Identifying staffing needs, interviewing and mentoring the members of the test team.

Experience

• 8 plus years in Testing Lifecycle
• 3 years Test Management Tool - HP Quality Center/ ALM
• 3 years Data Analysis
• Banking/Wealth Management domain knowledge
• Test strategy, Test management, migration, change and team handling experience

preferably in Mainframe and open source environment. Experience in Test
Automation/selenium is a plus but not mandatory.

Required Level of Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience
• Industry recognized testing certification(s)

• Must have authorization to work in Canada. The position is based in Halifax, One can be based anywhere in Atlantic Canada.
