Job Description

The objective is to enhance the quality of products and services supporting HRIS functions including recruiting, employee lifecycle, payroll, and benefits. A secondary role is to support the Finance Test Lead including budgeting, financials, fixed assets, accounts receivables, and month end reporting functions.

The incumbent would be working with manual, automation, and performance test engineers to ensure multiple work streams are appropriately validated and measured. In addition to providing on-going Testing coordination, the incumbent is expected to participate in initiatives involving the definitions and implementation of strong Testing best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that quality assurance-related activities at both the portfolio account and at the project level are appropriately planned and executed
  • Provide input and recommendations regarding best practices for a pragmatic, efficient quality assurance
  • Conducting risk assessments to determine the level of testing required.
  • Contribute to the quality assurance strategy.
  • Communication and socialization of the quality assurance approach
  • Make sure the testing meets or exceeds what is required for SOX.
  • Reviews the Business Requirements documentation including: High level Requirements, Detailed Requirements, Use Cases, Process Flows, and design documentation
  • Participates in Business Requirement Documentation Reviews and performs a gap analysis for the Business Requirement documents to influence the quality of the requirements from a testing perspective.
  • Ensures that alliances, subcontractors, and suppliers have acceptable quality management systems in place and are meeting IT's quality and control requirements
  • Partners with development teams to ensure effective use of methodologies
  • Participates in Technical Design Reviews and performs a gap analysis for the Technical Designs to obtain all necessary information needed in order to develop test cases

  • Coordinates the physical setup of the test environment if necessary
  • Supporting/Advising Testing Lead in all activities associated to Test Execution cycles such as reviewing Test Scripts, coordinating resources, communication, bug triage meetings, test coverage, issue resolution
  • Manages the timely reporting, investigation, and correction of any system environmental issues impacting the release environment
  • Contributes to the advancement through Quality Stage Gates
  • Coaches junior team members
  • Promotes effective teamwork and manage resolution of interpersonal issues
  • Promotes sharing of best practices across quality assurance teams
  • Proactively supports knowledge sharing within the core quality assurance team.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience in testing, quality assurance, and automation
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong understanding of DevOps capabilities, Agile methodology, Scrum practices
  • Strong knowledge of test automation tools
  • Strong knowledge of Hire to Retire business processes

  • 3-5 years' experience with HRIS
