Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - Web Developer V to join our client
Contract Period: 6 Months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $62 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid; 4 days on site come November
Business Hours: Monday - Friday; Core business hours
Job Responsibilities:

• Write highly responsive frontend code with the latest Angular framework
• Collaborate with the design team to convert wireframes into code
• Build reusable components for future use
• Integrate APIs and backend components with the frontend code
• Prepare and review code documentation
• Debug, troubleshoot, and test app components to ensure optimal functionality
• Participate in all stages of the software development cycle, including the design phase

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software development, information technology, or similar fields
• 10+ Years of Experience building responsive web apps with Angular
• Have built Angular applications from scratch and deployed to production environment
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript/Typescript
• Ability to use code versioning tools such as GIT and Bitbucket
• Ability to work with testing frameworks and tools
• Basic comprehension of agile development principles
• Understanding of APIs and API integration
