Please visit www.reeloneent.com for more information. We are looking for an IT Technician to support offices in London (UK), Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, and LA and to:

  • Assist in the realization and maintenance of an efficient, reliable, secure computer service by means of outsourced IT support and,
  • Provide hands-on technical assistance to our staff.
In this role, your duties will include ensuring optimal use of our hardware and software technologies, enhancing system performance, and securing data. You will also be required to investigate and advise on IT equipment upgrades. This position is suitable for a mobile Help Desk Tier 1-2 Technician. Position Overview:
Acting as one of the company\xe2\x80\x99s representative with outsourced suppliers of IT support, software, and hardware, you will:
  • Be responsible for user support process with the help of external IT support.
  • Gain in-depth technical knowledge of our systems hardware and software.
  • Enhance the capabilities of our computer systems so that the business can run smoothly.
  • Monitor hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
  • Assist outsourced IT support in updating computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systems.
  • Document processes and perform diagnostic tests.
  • Keep track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
  • Responsible for managing ticketing system and cloud resources.
You will be acting as our internal Help Desk support and will:
  • Provide hands-on Help Desk level 1 and 2 support for employees and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges
  • Be responsible of all onboarding/offboarding
  • Prepare laptops for new employees when necessary
  • Take inventory and order equipment as needed.
  • Track company IT assets when employees are hired or leaving the company
  • Track licenses for different software used within the company.
  • Perform network administration and configuration.
Who You Are:
You possess:
  • Studies equivalent experience in Computer Information Systems.
  • One to two years of work experience in an infrastructure technical support role or in a help desk setting.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Curiosity and want to learn and upgrade your skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud Storage, Services, and Backups (AWS, Azure & Linux)
  • Knowledge of network and Server Administration Tools and infrastructure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, business management and customer service skills.
  • The ability to clearly present technical information.
  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
  • Comfortable working in and assisting others through help desk software.
  • Bilingual (English & French)

  • Windows Server 2019
  • Fortigate NextGen firewalls
  • NAS (different brand)
  • Mac OSX and Windows 10 and 11
  • Ubiquiti network equipment
  • Office365
  • AWS and Azure Cloud
  • BitDefender Antivirus
  • Linux (nice to have)
