Fed IT is, recruitment firm specializing in recruitment on IT professions.
We work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent.
All our consultants are IT experts who speak your language and evolve in your universe. We cover IT, development, decision-making, and infrastructure.

We are looking for a Level 2-3 Computer Technician - System Administrator for one of our clients, based on the North Shore of Montreal, this is a permanent position, in hybrid mode (4 days a week on-site and one-day teleworking).
Our client is a lovely growing family SME, the IT support team is composed of 3 people who support each other, so we are looking for a versatile person both on 1-2-3 support and able to support the administrationof system, networks and security on an ad hoc basis.

Under an IT Director, your missions are as follows;

• Provide 1-2-3 level technical support to internal users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software problems.
• Configure, install, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
• Manage user accounts and access permissions
• Manage and track incidents and requests in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with internal teams on tickets related to network and security system issues. (verification of logs and other improvement actions)
• Other related duties.

Your profile:

• Important; Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Computer Science;
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT including 4 years of experience as a level 2-3 IT technician;
• In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems;
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
• Comp\xc3\xa9tences en r\xc3\xa9seautique (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, etc.);
• Knowledge of server administration (Windows Server, SQL Server, Linux);
• Experience with virtualization (VMware);
• Experience in managing the Fortinet Suite;
• Comfortable with Office 365, Exchange 365, and AWS product management;
