Job Summary


We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing computer systems, and delivering exceptional customer service to our users. The IT Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our technology systems and supporting end-users across various platforms.

Responsibilities



Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Manage computer systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers. Troubleshoot software issues and perform software installations as needed. Assist with computer networking tasks, including VPN setup, firewall configurations, and LAN management. Utilize help desk tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira to track and resolve user requests efficiently. Maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures to ensure consistency in support delivery. Collaborate with team members to enhance IT infrastructure and improve service delivery. Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with users to understand their technical needs.

Skills



Proficient in technical support for desktop environments and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux). Networking and Cabling experience Strong understanding of computer management principles and practices. Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications. Knowledge of computer networking concepts including VPNs, firewalls, and LAN configurations. Familiarity with IT support tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira for help desk operations. Excellent software troubleshooting skills across various applications. Solid understanding of computer hardware components and their functionality. Strong communication skills to provide effective customer service and technical guidance to users. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
