ITR Laboratories Canada has been servicing the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries for over 30 years and has established itself as a trusted partner worldwide in Drug Safety Testing. We are actively seeking an IT Technician to join our team as we continue to expand our reach and services.

Main Responsibilities:

• Respond to service tickets, answer calls and emails about on-site support
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve technical issues and escalate tickets
• Verify daily and monthly backups and manage user accounts
• Manage workstations, servers, network, backup and storage devices
• Configure, deploy, troubleshoot and provide hardware and software support including computers, laptops, VPN clients and printers;
• Facilitate computer repairs with suppliers to ensure equipment is properly maintained and corporate standards are met.
• Maintain documentation for processes, procedures and inventory, and document any changes made to the systems;
• Supports IT Project work as needed;
• Other related tasks;

Requirements:

• At least one-year of experience in IT technical support
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server & Workstation Operating System;
• Experience with Active Directory and user Management;
• Knowledge of Networking;
• Experience with Backup systems;
• Good experience with Microsoft Office products;
• Knowledge of Computerized Systems validation - asset;
• Familiar with Pharmaceutical Industry regulation (GLP, FDA) - asset;
• Team work;
