Now we're looking for an

experienced, hands-on IT Systems Technician

to support our store teams and keep our tech infrastructure running smoothly across all locations.

What you'll do

Provide in-person technical support for store systems including POS terminals, back-office servers, retail scales, and CCTV Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across multiple Summerhill Market locations Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Windows 10/11 systems and Microsoft 365 applications Support end-users with device setup, account access, and general IT requests Participate in upgrades, equipment installations, and infrastructure improvements Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, configurations, and resolutions Be available for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed in a retail support environment

What we're looking for

2-3 years' experience in IT support or technical operations (retail environment preferred) Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN, routers, switches) Familiarity with CCTV systems, retail scales, and POS systems (ECRS experience is an asset) Ability to write or interpret simple scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills A quick learner who adapts well to new systems and technologies Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in fast-paced retail environments
