We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our customers IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and enhancing our systems' reliability.
You will be in camp for 4 days out of the week and off Friday to Sunday.
Duties
Manage and maintain server environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
Implement and manage cloud services using platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Collaborate with development teams to support DevOps practices and automate deployment processes.
Maintain network infrastructure, ensuring secure connections and efficient data flow.
Administer databases using NoSQL technologies, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Support container orchestration using Kubernetes for application deployment.
Develop scripts in JavaScript or Java to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
Provide technical support to users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Skills
Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Knowledge of computer networking principles and best practices.
Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
Understanding of containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
Experience with NoSQL databases for efficient data management.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as JavaScript or Java to enhance automation capabilities.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
