It Support Coordinator

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior IT Manager - East region, the candidate will be responsible for supporting technical operations at one of our largest manufacturing sites within Canada. This position will work within the National IT team, focused on local and remote support of the user community. The position requires occasional travel to the different locations within Ontario.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide local and remote-user support;
  • Manage the change request system, new users, and termination forms;
  • Imaging and Deployment of end-user devices;
  • Ensure a constant communication with all service providers as well as with all levels of the IT organization;
  • Asset Procurement and Management;
  • Analyze, resolves and trouble shoots systems issues related to local area networks, data communications, printers, phones, and system security;
  • Setup and procure mobile devices for the region;
  • Execute on other tasks as determined by the Senior IT Manager, East region.
PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA:
  • Technical diploma (College) in Business or Computer Science or equivalent disciplines;
  • Minimum Three (2) years of computer systems experience;
  • Experience in IT infrastructure and application support;
  • Working knowledge of common workplace software including LANDesk, Windows Server, VMware, Windows 10, Microsoft Office (365), Teams, Yammer, OneDrive, SharePoint
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
  • Experience supporting Business Critical Systems (ERP, MES, LIMS, CRM) an asset
  • Experience with ServiceNOW is an asset
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or the corporate office of a manufacturing organization is an asset
  • Client focused approach and possess the ability to analyze and resolve hardware and software problems quickly and efficiently;
  • Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills;
  • Proven interpersonal, negotiation and oral and written communication skills;
  • Outstanding approach to teamwork, collaboration and communication;
  • Network knowledge and wireless technologies.
