Adecco is currently recruiting for a Junior IT Support Analyst, to join our client\'s dynamic team in the heart of Calgary, AB, within the thriving energy industry. In this role, you\'ll not only assist in the daily management of applications, processes, and systems in an operations technology environment but also become an integral part of a team committed to excellence. Your tasks will encompass configuration management, system monitoring, application support, and data analysis. Working closely with seasoned professionals, you\'ll ensure seamless operations, rapid issue resolution, and active participation in process enhancement initiatives.

  • Location: Calgary, AB
\xc2\xb7 Schedule: Monday - Friday | 4 days in office, 1 day work from home

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining software and hardware systems within the operations technology environment.
  • Monitor systems health for performance and security.
  • Execute routine configuration and data analysis tasks using SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with team members to document, improve, and automate processes.
  • Support configuration change management processes.
  • Monitor assignment queue and team inbox for task assignments.
  • Accurate and timely execution of routine configuration and operations tasks.
  • ServiceNow ticketing documentation of configuration changes and updates.
  • Create and update ServiceNow Knowledge Base articles and documents.
  • Help with continuous improvement of system monitoring tools.
  • Monitor data flows from control systems to data historians.
Key Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

\xc2\xb7 Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in a computer science, information technology, or related field

\xc2\xb7 1-4 years of relevant work or internship experience.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

\xc2\xb7 Motivated self-starter with a curiosity to learn and understand.

\xc2\xb7 Exposure to ITIL framework and concepts is not required but would be a bonus.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

\xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis.

\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail with a commitment to perform routine tasks and follow established procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work collaboratively in a customer-facing and team-oriented environment

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with any of the following is not required but would be a bonus:
PowerShell scripting
Microsoft Power Platform (i.e. Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
PI AVEVA and related tools
