Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - Security Specialist V to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.
Contract Period: 3 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $92 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid
Business Hours: Monday-Friday; Core Business Hours
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide vision and leadership for developing and supporting security initiatives
• Planning and implementation of enterprise IT system, business operation, and facility defenses against security breaches and vulnerability issues
• Auditing existing systems, while directing the administration of security policies, activities, and standards
• Direct and apply control systems to prevent error, abuse, fraud, etc
• Take full responsibility for minimizing disaster threat effects and for recovery
• Raise awareness of all levels of the organization regarding security practices
• Aligns the security policy with policies and plans of the organization
• Constantly review procedures for security failings and disaster recovery
• Originating/maintaining security policies and strategies
• Ensure compliance with security plans/standards
• Manage risk analysis, disaster recovery, planning and event simulation

Experience & Qualification Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10 Years of IT Technology Experience
• Management experience - will be managing team in terms of processes/ technology issues
• Technology background
• Engineering technology delivery experience
• Agile focused
• Very strong communication skills/ strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Physical security technology experience
• Banking experience
