IT Security Specialist III

We are currently seeking a qualified IT Security Specialist III to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this full-time position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: St. Laurent, Quebec
Schedule: 90% of the role will be done remotely

DESCRIPTION - Our client is seeking an IT Security Specialist to join their team full-time. Reporting to the Head of digital trust and governance, the incumbent is responsible perform a fact-based data-driven maturity assessment based on NIST CSF 2.0

Responsibilities

• Collects, consolidates and analyzes information required for the evaluation of cybersecurity maturity controls based on NIST CSF 2.0
• Identify opportunities for cybersecurity program optimization, growth, scalability, and improvements with recommended courses of action to support the current and future maturity goals.
• Report maturity assessment results and provide recommendations to management.
• Conducts risk assessments and supports the stakeholders in determining the appropriate treatment of identified risks; identify appropriate action plans for risk remediation.
• Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in telecommunications or in computer science with a specialization in telecommunications, or the equivalent.
• Ten (10) years\' experience in Cybersecurity
• In-depth knowledge NIST CSF framework
• The following certifications are an asset: ITIL, CISSP, CISM and CISA.
• Aerospace industry knowledge would be considered an asset.
• This person will show initiative, leadership, customer orientation, sense of collaboration (teamwork), interpersonal skills, ability to influence, compliance with commitments, results oriented.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
