We are currently recruiting for a Bilingual IT Security Specialist for our Ottawa based client. This is a 3 month hybrid contract role that requires onsite presence 3 days a week. Our client is offering an excellent work environment as well as work/life balance.
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Must Be Bilingual (English and French)
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Solid knowledge in IT Security best practices
- Virtualization of networks, cloud technologies or cryptography
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Writing or consulting threat and risk assessments
- IT product testing and evaluation
- Management of systems related to the security of Windows or Linux servers or workstations (including virtual machines)
- Security configuration of unified communications or enterprise telecommunications platforms or enterprise networks (e.g. Cisco, Juniper)
- Use of security protocols (e.g., TLS, HTTPS, IPSec, IKE), communications protocols (e.g., VoIP/SIP, REST interfaces, RCP, TCP broadcast), or analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, SIPp, Kali, etc.)
- Contract: 3 months with a possibility of extension or permanency
- Hybrid Role: 3 days per week expected to be onsite
