Note that the position may be in the Canadian Branch of BNP Paribas or in one of its subsidiaries based in Montreal.The position at a glanceThe focus of the position is the engineering of the production and non-production CyberArk environments. This is expressed in the management, design/engineering, administration, and third-level support of the Privileged Account Management infrastructure components for CyberArk.It includes:

  • Apply Cybersecurity experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to analyze, design, and support a continuous monitoring solution to verify and validate appropriate user privileges, assigned credentials, trustworthiness, appropriate user security behavior training, and appropriately granted resource access rights to users.
  • Engage multiple stakeholders and leverage security products or technologies to recommend solution architectures and designs needed to monitor and report on IAM/PAM data in the bank.
  • Maintain responsibility for articulating and authoring multiple findings, recommendations, and other artifacts, including interfacing with key stakeholders to implement tailored PAM solutions. Work with architects, SMEs, and other engineers, and provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.

  • Work as Technical Lead/SME for Privileged Account Management
  • Rollout, integration, configuration and administration of CyberArk for Privileged Account Management.
  • Ability to perform proofs of concept (POCs) and conduct research to explore new technologies and solutions
  • Architect, design, and implement secure and scalable access management solutions using CyberArk
  • Create, maintain and ensure adherence to baselines, security policies, procedures, guidelines and control standards.
  • Evaluates systems performance and capacity and provides reports and recommendations to management
  • Performs configuration, tuning, upgrading, and administration of CyberArk infrastructure components
  • Support monitoring and reporting mechanisms to effectively communicate accurate and current status of the environment and respond accordingly
  • Assist on security assessments on OS, network and application vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses and provide potential solutions
  • Work closely with IT teams on identifying and remediation of systems with security issues.
  • Key contributor to disaster recovery planning and system recovery exercises providing infrastructure support
  • Managing and maintaining the CyberArk PAM platform (Vault, PSM, PVWA, CPM, PSM for SSH, AD Bridge)
  • Facilitates the implementation of protective and mitigating controls.
  • Collaborate with pivotal business stakeholders on cybersecurity standards.
  • Mentor other cybersecurity professionals with compassion and learning.
  • Participates in resolution of complex priority issues.
  • Participate in the evaluation, design, project management and deployment of security solutions
  • Participate in both internal and external audits
QualificationsThe strengths and skills that will help you succeed
  • Requires a minimum of 15+ years\' professional work experience, including a minimum of 10+ years\' of information security operations experience.
  • Strong technical understanding of a broad range of security concepts and countermeasures including workstation and server security, OS security, perimeter security, cryptography, and network security
  • CyberArk Expertise including PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP, AAM, EPV, PTA
  • CyberArk administration, configuration, implementation designs and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding and extensive exposure to securing network and infrastructure components (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, proxy, web gateways)
  • Strong understanding of Operating system security (Windows, Linux, Unix)
  • Conducting security assessments, provide remediation and follow-up
  • Experience with IPS/IDS system and Security-Incident Event Management (SIEM) technology & products
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions & products
  • Strong understanding of desktop security concepts
  • Demonstrated experience with technology risks and controls, internal controls, and risks assessments
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of project management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams
  • Ability to translate business requirements into control objectives
  • Certifications (is a +): CISSP, CISM, CyberArk Guardian and/or Sentinel
  • Knowledge of the English language is required.
