Hybrid: 2-3 days (4 Days in future based on the project need)
Anchor days: Tuesday, Wednesday.
Contract Duration: 01/05/2026 to 10/31/2026
Possibility of extension: Yes, extension based on performance
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday;standard 37.5 hrs/week

Business group: Group Treasury and Risk Technology, Corporate & Commercial Banking Technology team
Project: The PLM (Problem Loan Management) project is a strategic initiative to replace legacy systems for credit loss and default calculations, aiming to standardize data, automate workflows, and enhance reporting for regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. It focuses on scalability, bilingual support, and improved user experience through streamlined processes.

Key Accountabilities:

  • End-to-end project delivery: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, meeting quality standards and organizational objectives.
  • Project planning and scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones;monitor progress and adjust as needed to maintain delivery commitments.
  • Resource forecasting and allocation: Prepare accurate resource forecasts, manage capacity planning, and optimize utilization across teams and vendors.
  • Financial management: Track project budgets, manage accruals, monitor actuals vs forecasts, and ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting standards.
  • Risk and issue management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks;maintain RAID logs and escalate issues promptly to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication: Provide clear, timely updates to leadership and cross-functional teams;manage expectations and dependencies.
  • Governance and compliance: Adhere to organizational project governance frameworks, EDF gating, and operational readiness requirements.
  • Vendor and contract management: Coordinate with external partners, ensuring deliverables meet contractual obligations and service-level agreements.
  • Quality assurance and operational readiness: Oversee testing, release management, and readiness activities to ensure smooth deployment and transition to BAU.
  • Continuous improvement: Drive process optimization, lessons learned, and adoption of best practices for future projects.
  • Ability to go beyond traditional project management by understanding business requirements and proposed solutions, ensuring alignment between delivery and strategic objectives.
Skills/Experience/Competencies:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in end-to-end IT project delivery within complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Proficiency in resource forecasting, financial tracking, and budget management.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and contractual obligations.
  • Expertise in risk and issue management, including RAID log maintenance.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and compliance standards.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with cloud migration projects and modernization initiatives.
  • Exposure to data analytics or reporting tools
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial or enterprise environments
  • Certification such as PMP
Education:
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
Best VS. Average Candidate:
The best candidate will have exceptional communication skills and a collaborative attitude, combined with proven experience delivering similar projects or working with comparable technologies. They will also understand business requirements and solutions, ensuring delivery aligns with strategic objectives. An average candidate may meet basic PM competencies but focus mainly on task tracking, lack familiarity with the technology, and require more time to ramp up, with limited ability to influence or engage stakeholders effectively.
