Job Description

Our Banking Client is seeking an experienced Capital Markets IT Project Manager to lead strategic and regulatory initiatives across global teams. The role requires end-to-end project delivery, including governance, stakeholder management, financial oversight, and alignment with technology and risk frameworks. You will work closely with senior executives, technology partners, and external regulators/vendors to drive regulatory and capital markets projects from initiation through transition to BAU.

Location: Toronto, ON
Must-Haves:
8-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in financial services or regulatory environments.
5+ years managing regulatory projects (e.g., ISO, SWIFT).
5+ years working within change management programs.
Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, lead meetings, and prepare executive-level presentations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI is an asset).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in capital markets project management.
Knowledge of settlements and derivatives, particularly in relation to ISO standards.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, detail-oriented project manager with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of delivering results in a fast-paced, global environment.
