Job Title: IT Project Manager - Contract (Freelance)

Contract Duration: 12 months + extension

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our client's team and lead critical projects on behalf of our public sector client. This is a contract role suitable for a freelancer, offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Lead project teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards. Communicate project status and updates to key stakeholders. Foster a collaborative and positive project environment.

Key Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the public sector. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge of IT systems and technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a must.
