Procurement Specialist



Job Summary:



The IT Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing IT hardware, software, and services to support the organization's operational and strategic goals. This role requires a solid understanding of IT products and services, vendor management, and procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:



Experience working in a small to medium business environment.

Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT assets including laptops, servers, software licenses, networking equipment, cloud services, and other IT-related solutions.

Collaborate with IT, Finance, and other departments to identify procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies.

Evaluate and negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements with IT vendors and suppliers.

Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, while maintaining cost-efficiency and quality standards.

Track software licenses and hardware inventory to ensure compliance and optimize usage.

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and service-level agreements.

Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place.

Stay informed of market trends, emerging technologies, and changes in vendor offerings.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing cost estimates and usage reports.

Support lifecycle management including renewals, asset tracking and warranty/maintenance agreements.

Manage purchasing processes including purchase orders, contract management

Qualifications:



5+ years of experience in IT procurement.

Strong understanding of IT systems, hardware, software licensing models, and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft, Fortinet, VEEAM, SentinelOne, etc.).

Solid negotiation, communication, and contract management skills.

Proficiency in procurement software and quoting systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:



Experience with FreshService, Quoter and M365 Suite.

Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple requests at the same time.

Speaking and written French.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
