Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Operational Lead to oversee the daily operations of our IT infrastructure and support teams. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our technology systems that drive business operations. The IT Operational Lead will coordinate IT activities, manage technical teams, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and support company growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily operations of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime Oversee the IT support team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management Develop and implement operational procedures, policies, and standards for IT services Monitor system performance, security, and backups; proactively address potential issues or vulnerabilities Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support technology deployments, upgrades, and integrations Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and IT services procurement and support Ensure compliance with data security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements Prepare and present regular reports on IT operational metrics and project status to leadership Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize IT service delivery and reduce downtime Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management, including leadership roles Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, cloud services, and cybersecurity principles Experience managing IT support teams and coordinating technical projects Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
