Role Overview
You will lead the end-to-end rollout of a new Point of Sale (POS) platform across 65+ locations and own deep integrations with third-party aggregators (Uber Eats, DoorDash, Skip, etc.). You'll also build the data plumbing that powers real-time reporting and operational analytics (menus, pricing, order flow, sales mix, COGS, labor).
Key Responsibilities
POS Implementation (E2E)
Plan and execute POS deployment across all stores with minimal downtime.
Coordinate vendors, internal IT, Operations, Training, and Store Managers.
Standardize menus, modifiers, taxes, tender types, and build rules.
Aggregator & API Integrations
Integrate delivery marketplaces into the POS with reliable bi-directional sync.
Own menu mapping, pricing parity, store hours, throttling, and order injection.
Establish monitoring/alerting for failures (webhooks, order rejects, menu sync errors) and drive fast incident resolution.
Data & Analytics
Design and maintain POS ? DWH/BI pipelines (e.g., scheduled exports, webhooks, APIs).
Deliver clean, trusted datasets for Sales, COGS, Labor, Discounts, Voids, and Delivery fees.
Build KPI dashboards (sales mix, channel performance, speed of service, downtime, adoption) and publish weekly exec reports.
Partner with Finance/Operations on data definitions, SLAs, and governance.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Define scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics; run standups and RAID logs.
Report progress to executive leadership; manage risks/rollbacks; drive cutover playbooks.
Create documentation, SOPs, and training content for store teams and support.
Run & Support
Own Tier-2/Tier-3 support with clear SLAs and escalation paths.
Maintain environment configuration, releases, and change control.
Continuously improve stability, performance, and usability based on field feedback.
Requirements
4-7+ years in IT Project/Program Management or Product/Implementation in QSR/Retail.
Hands-on experience implementing and supporting POS at multi-unit scale.
Strong knowledge of delivery aggregator platforms and API-based integrations.
Comfortable with data pipelines/ETL, SQL basics, and BI/reporting tools.
Proficient with project tools (e.g., Jira/Asana), and Agile/iterative delivery.
Excellent communication, vendor management, and cross-functional leadership.
Nice to have: POS certification(s), experience with loyalty/online ordering, PMP/PRINCE2/CSM.
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

POS rollout:
% stores live on time/on budget; cutover defect rate; zero major incidents.
Integrator health:
Order-flow success rate, menu sync timeliness, refund/error rate.
Data quality:
On-time data refresh, reconciliation accuracy vs. POS, dashboard adoption.
Support:
MTTR, SLA attainment, reduction in repeat incidents.
