We deliver culturally responsive, accessible mental health services to children, youth, and families while providing system leadership and advocating to improve care in our community.




Position Summary:

Reporting to senior leadership, the IT Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across the full spectrum of IT services. This role is critical to ensuring a secure, reliable, and efficient technology environment that supports staff, programs, and organizational priorities.



The IT Manager will lead the planning, implementation, and ongoing improvement of technology systems, while developing and executing a comprehensive three-year IT strategic plan aligned with organizational goals and future growth. With a strong commitment to quality, security, and innovation, the IT Manager will collaborate across teams to ensure technology enables effective service delivery and supports the organization's long-term success.

Education/Training/Experience:




Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT management or similar leadership roles. Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity best practices. Experience in healthcare, social services, or not-for-profit environments is a strong asset Experience building access systems and integrated security solutions. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent credentials in IT security, management, and project leadership.



Role and Responsibilities:



Develop and execute Vanier's IT strategy and roadmap in alignment with organizational priorities Provide leadership and guidance on digital transformation, system upgrades, and process improvements Advise senior leadership on technology risks, opportunities, and investments Oversee networks, servers, cloud systems, telephony, and hardware across all sites Ensure system availability, performance, backups, and disaster recovery processes Manage user access, permissions, and lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding) Maintain strong cybersecurity controls and data protection practices Ensure compliance with privacy and security requirements (including PHIPA and related standards) Lead incident response, risk assessments, and security awareness initiatives Manage relationships with IT vendors, MSPs, and software providers Oversee key systems such as EMR/clinical systems, finance, payroll, HR, and collaboration tools Review contracts, licensing, renewals, and cost optimization opportunities Oversee IT support processes to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation Support staff training and adoption of new systems and tools

A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle 2 Step TB test Broad Record Check



Schedule:




35-hour work week Monday- Friday
