We're hiring an

IT Manager

to shape Horizon's technology strategy across multiple divisions while overseeing the daily IT operations that keep our teams productive and secure. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll influence both

long-term strategy

and

helping us strengthen our infrastructure, modernize our systems, and enhance how our people work.

If you're an experienced IT professional who loves a mix of problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration, this is your opportunity to make a real impact at a company that values growth, trust, and teamwork.

Develop, implement, and maintain IT security policies to protect company data and assets. Conduct security audits and respond to alerts such as phishing attempts, endpoint security notifications, and SIEM alerts. Foster a proactive cybersecurity culture across the organization.

Hardware, Software & Systems Integration

Manage hardware and software procurement, installation, and lifecycle maintenance. Support software integrations and data programming between systems (including Trimble, POS, and ERP tools). Maintain and patch systems regularly to ensure compatibility and security.

User Support & Collaboration

Provide approachable, effective support to staff with varying technical backgrounds. Communicate clearly with non-technical audiences and translate IT solutions into practical business value. Foster strong relationships with team members across divisions.

Vendor & Budget Oversight

Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements. Negotiate pricing and service terms to maximize value.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and processes. Report on key IT performance indicators including uptime, response times, and incidents.

Bonus:

Experience coding or developing applications is an asset.

Education & Experience

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2-3 years in a leadership role. Experience supporting a multi-location organization and communicating with non-technical stakeholders. Certifications in TCP/IP networking, Windows, or cybersecurity are considered an asset.

Skills & Strengths

Broad knowledge of networks, information security, and systems management. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
