Zurich Canada is currently looking for post-secondary students for an IT focused Internship/Coop position to provide support with various projects and tasks to support business initiatives.
You will work under direct supervision and perform requested tasks alongside experienced professionals. These opportunities are part of our internship program and are also open to Co-op students.

What you will do

• Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the application development lifecycle
• Work on development, analysis, testing and documentation in the enterprise application and data engineering areas
• Apply your academic knowledge to real-world projects and learn from professionals in the field

Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table

• Currently enrolled in a university program, and will be enrolled in the upcoming Fall Semester, ideally entering 3rd or 4th year, preferably in computer science, software engineering or an IT focused/related program.
• Be legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrates problem solving skills in a customer focused environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical skills
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
• Java, Excel and PowerPoint experience
• Self-motivated, punctual, professional and able to work independently

At Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is 45,000 - 60,000. This range reflects the expected pay for the role across Canada and may vary depending on factors like office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable compensation range, but starting salaries may exceed this range based on a candidate's skills and experience.
