Position Details:

  • Role: IT Specialist
  • Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
  • Location: West GTA
  • Compensation: $75,000-$80,000 annually

Key Requirements and Responsibilities:
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills, a positive personality, and a team-player mindset.
  • Help Desk Experience: 5+ years of dedicated help desk experience, currently in a Senior or Lead Help Desk role.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficient in L1 / L2 / L3 support, with experience handling tasks across systems, networks, and security.
  • Extensive knowledge of Office 365 support.
  • Expertise in Active Directory, Azure AD, and InTune.
  • Skilled in email support tasks such as managing Exchange accounts, adding/removing users, and creating groups.
  • Help Desk Coordination:
  • Monitor and manage tickets efficiently, escalating where necessary.
  • Provide support to ensure team members focus on larger projects and initiatives.
  • Basic Networking Knowledge: A solid understanding of fundamental network concepts is an asset.
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-to-end support for systems, networks, and security, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Manage and resolve technical issues across all levels (L1, L2, and L3), escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Oversee the administration of Office 365, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Utilize Intune to manage devices and maintain security protocols.
  • Coordinate help desk operations, prioritizing and delegating tickets to enable team members to focus on strategic projects.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Support the integration and usage of cloud technologies to enhance system scalability and performance.
