Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated IT Help Desk Technician to provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems across our organization. This role involves addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues while maintaining device enrollments and configurations. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with system administration tools. This is a long-term contract position based in Toronto, Ontario.
Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first and second-level IT support to employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software, networks, and user accounts.
  • Administer and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory, including user accounts, security groups, and access permissions.
  • Diagnose and address technical issues on Windows and macOS devices to minimize downtime.
  • Handle device enrollment and lifecycle management using Jamf for macOS and Intune for Windows and mobile devices.
  • Maintain and oversee Apple Business Manager integrations to ensure proper device assignment and deployment workflows.
  • Configure and monitor endpoint security, compliance, and patching processes.
  • Record and document IT issues, solutions, and procedures within the help desk system.
  • Liaise with vendors and escalate complex problems when necessary.
  • Support IT projects, including system upgrades, deployments, and new tool implementations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT help desk or desktop support role.
  • Proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues across Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with device management tools such as Jamf and Intune.
  • Familiarity with Apple Business Manager for device assignments and workflows.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including Wi-Fi and firewalls.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues in a dynamic environment.
