Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children. This role involves developing and implementing educational programs, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring that all students receive the highest quality of education tailored to their individual needs.

Responsibilities

Design and implement engaging educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning. Mentor and support junior educators, providing guidance on best practices in early childhood education. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development. Maintain organized classroom environments that are conducive to learning. Utilize effective time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities and administrative tasks. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive classroom for all students. Communicate effectively in English, with the ability to incorporate French language elements as needed.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices is required. Experience writing educational materials or lesson plans is preferred. A background in working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Ability to create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and development.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
