We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The work location for this position is USA, and is considered a fully remote work arrangement.
This is a contractor position.

The Opportunity: This role is within the Platform Solutions team, which includes customer master data management solutions. The solution leverages cloud-native technologies and products that provide a single source of truth for customer records. Members of this team perform all development, testing, maintenance, and integration on the Customer domain platform, which includes building microservices to integrate with legacy systems, cleanse the customer data, and provide a single source of truth to requesting consumers. We are looking for a self-motivated senior developer who prides themselves on writing clean code, is passionate about improving themselves, their team, and our organization, and is excited to contribute to an innovative, diverse, and growing technology company.

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll:

• We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will work closely with the product and dependent system teams to deliver features in production.
• Take the lead and ownership of a given feature from inception to production, including detailed designs, specifications, diagrams, models, and presentation material.
• Work closely with product owners to refine functional requirements and develop nonfunctional requirements to deliver scalable, high-quality, and reliable production.
• Should be skillful in DevOps space and can fully automate testing and deployment process.
• Should be skillful in running load test scripts and obtaining and turning performance numbers across all systems involved in the integration.
• Provides monitoring and production support for delivered features.
• Ability to learn and leverage key functions of Reltio production, which provides Customer MDM solutions.
• Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of your team, co-workers, and customers.

Here\xe2\x80\x99s what you bring:

• College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a senior developer role.
• 5+ years of IT experience in analysis and design-related positions.
• 3+ years of AWS or any Native Cloud Architecture experience
• Proficient in Java, Springboot microservices, Datadog, and deploying and running applications in AWS.
• Proficient in leveraging DevOps tools like Jenkins, Circle CI, code climate, SonarQube, helm charts, Kubernetes, automation testing of platform services, security scanning, and auto deployment to respective environments.
• Proficient in working in iterative approach and knowledge about all agile ceremonies.
• Hands-on experience architecting IT solutions, including modeling, business requirements gathering/analysis, and systems analysis.
• Highly self-motivated and directed with a willingness to take the initiative and accountability for achieving results. A hands-on programmer who can explore different technologies, perform proof of concept if needed, and help the development team through the implementation.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to analyze information accurately, problem-solve, and make sound decisions.
• Experience creating design artifacts (e.g., conceptual, contextual, logical, physical diagrams, solution blueprint documents, etc.).
• Ability to prepare specifications and reports, deliver oral presentations, and explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
• Experience with projects involving the integration of disparate types of technologies and platforms.
• Ability to analyze information accurately, problem-solve, and make sound decisions.
