Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - Business Systems Analyst III to join our client
Contract Period: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting From $50 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid- 2 days in office- usually between Wed to Fri
Business Hours: Monday to Friday - core business hours
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective and efficient solutions by researching/analyzing current state system capabilities and defining technology solutions options / recommendations working closely with key technology partners
  • Define, document and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and non-functional specifications
  • Support testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing
  • Support and contribute to project management activities by taking part in the scoping and estimating of project efforts, risks identification and mitigation measures recommendation, communicating activity status and supplying prompt notification and escalation of possible issues/problems to the Project Manager
  • Participate in quality management reviews, in particular reviews of the designs, prototypes and other requirements work products to ensure they fulfill the requirements
  • Support collaboration with key stakeholders to find solutions, assess impact to existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration
  • May supply operational / process related analysis and support to various extents
  • Ensure best practices related to the BSA discipline are adhered to and enforced within project processes and deliverables
  • Adhere to existing processes/standards including requirements management and project management disciplines, well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and standards, and business technology architecture, escalating escalate issues as needed
  • Continuously enhance knowledge/ability in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies trends/developments and develop ability in services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques that can contribute to effective solution development/delivery
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of business domains and their products/services
  • Support the development of business cases including benefits identification, RFI/RFP and service level agreements with vendors/suppliers consistent with technology requirements/guidelines
  • Maintain ongoing communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Able to perform BSA tasks effectively while assigned to a single project or multiple concurrent projects
  • Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines
  • Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units
  • Coach new or less experienced colleagues and function as a reference for the requirements management lifecycle
  • Find and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
  • 5-7 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable working with both Business and Technical teams
  • Initiative-taker with the ability to multi-task effectively and independently within a demanding environment
  • Able to gauge the right level of priority and detail and/or effort on any given project
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Initiative-taking with a proven history of delivering results
  • Exhibit effective critical thinking skills with a high degree of diligence
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to follow-up on issues independently and ensure they are resolved promptly, escalating when necessary
  • Advanced knowledge of system analysis process and techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of systems and applications supported by the team including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rule
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and related ability including design, development, testing and project management
  • Understanding of business supported Performs work on all aspects of the system analyst process from end to end
  • Projects are moderate to overly complex and performed under minimal management supervision
  • Experience in driving ServiceNow Integration Projects, ServiceNow BSA, Confluence/JIRA, Agile Delivery, ITIL process/ITSM solutions
  • Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)
