Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled IT Bus Systems Analyst V to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.
Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $82 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid
Business Hours: Monday-Friday; Core Business Hours
Job Responsibilities:

• Translate capital management business rules and data into detailed technology requirements, mappings, and controls, including requirement traceability matrices
• Author user stories and acceptance criteria using JIRA and Confluence
• Develop and maintain data lineage, catalogues, and control documentation to ensure transparency, compliance, and audit readiness
• Prepare test cases and plans
• Lead triage and QA activities to validate data and system integrity
• Conduct data discovery and profiling for critical capital data sources to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality
• Perform hands-on work with data platforms, integration processes, and testing methodologies
• Create data and process flows using Visio, Confluence, and similar tools
• Utilize SQL for analysis across large datasets and demonstrate understanding of big-data concepts
• Maintain a strong foundational understanding of financial products and their impact on capital management

Experience & Qualification Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ Years of Business Analyst Experience
• 7+ years' experience & proven ability to translate business rules into technology requirements and maintain traceability
• Strong experience with SQL and data analysis across large datasets
• 7+ years hands-on expertise in data integration, testing methodologies, and process documentation
• Proficiency in creating data/process flows and maintaining governance artifacts
• Solid foundational understanding of financial products
• Experience with Credit / Capital Calculation Engines / QRM / Market risk technology implementation
• Familiarity with Axiom for capital reporting
• Experience in capital management technology, treasury systems, or related financial services roles
• CFA or FRM certifications
• Business Systems Analyst/Business Analyst certification
• Jira and Confluence experience
