Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a IT BSA- API/Banking, a pivotal position focused on supporting and advancing application updates and migrations within the Messaging Back Office (MBO) application. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on Azure migration projects, requiring strong technical skills in Azure and Angular, while collaborating closely with a skilled team to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document detailed system requirements and technical specifications aligned with organizational standards and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with business partners, technology teams, and stakeholders to elicit, communicate, and manage comprehensive business and system requirements.
• Research and analyze current system capabilities to recommend and define technological solutions, working closely with solution architects and quality assurance teams.
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories, including functional and non-functional specifications.
• Support testing activities by preparing test conditions and expected results for various testing phases, including product, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, story refinement, and effort estimation to ensure timely delivery.
• Review designs, prototypes, and other deliverables to ensure they meet business and technical requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to assess impacts on existing systems and processes and support seamless integration.
• Analyze operational and process-related aspects, providing insights and support to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and organizational standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Keep current with the latest technological developments relevant to the role, including emerging trends in Azure, Angular, and API integrations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and team members to ensure clarity and transparency throughout project delivery.
• Mentor less experienced team members and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Desired Skill-Set

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a financial or comparable environment.
• 5+ years of experience delivering solutions within Agile frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Technical proficiency with API calls, Angular, Java, and Azure environment.
• Proven ability to develop and translate requirements into detailed user stories and functional specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience supporting and participating in testing and quality assurance activities.
• Deep understanding of system analysis techniques, enterprise delivery practices, and architecture standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience coaching and guiding team members within a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Behavior Driven Design (BDD).
• Knowledge of data marts and broader organizational systems.
• Familiarity with additional development frameworks and tools.
• Previous experience working in a hybrid work environment.
• Banking industry background.
