Position Overview: With a background in IT audit and a desire to learn in data analysis, the IT Auditor will support Finning International\xe2\x80\x99s global Internal Audit operations through execution of ITGC testing, performance of IT audit activities, and partnership with the business and Internal Audit to improve performance and provide insights into our operations.

In cooperation with the Internal Audit Global IT & Analytics Leader, the IT Auditor will work to improve and expand the IT audit function in Internal Audit.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated skill in IT audit and a working understanding of relevant best practices, and desire to learn and grow in IT audit and audit analytics.

Major Job Functions:

• IT Audit Activities and Support [Primary]

• Perform annual ITGC testing in compliance with C-SOx requirements
• Work with Internal Audit Global IT & Analytics Leader and IT to improve and enhance the corporate ITGC environment
• In conjunction with the Internal Audit Global IT & Analytics Leader, further develop and expand the global IT audit strategy and program
• Working both independently and with internal and external resources; develop, execute, and report on IT audits and assessments
• Provide insight and assurance over Finning\xe2\x80\x99s IT functions and processes
• Develop and maintain documentation over Finning\xe2\x80\x99s IT environment and controls
• Develop a strong understanding of business and system processes
• Provide recommendations and guidance on identified security and control risks

• Analytics and Project Support [As Needed]

• With the guidance and support of the Internal Audit Global IT & Analytics Leader:

• Develop and enhance skills in data analysis using specified tools to enhance Internal Audit\xe2\x80\x99s testing and reporting capabilities
• Execute on specific data analysis projects including planning, development, execution, and reporting
• Operationalize insights through the development of dashboards, tools, and processes
• Document related processes, procedures, and analysis work

Accountability:

• Accountable for delivering and executing IT audits, and internal audits to support the Internal Audit mandate
• Accountable for the accurate and complete review and assessment of IT audit and IT controls projects
• Accountable for delivering work on time and with the appropriate level of detail and quality

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in IT audit
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field, such as IT, business intelligence, or statistics, or equivalent experience
• Related designations in IT audit and data analytics are beneficial (CISA, CRISC, CISM, ACDA, etc.)
• Knowledge of IT audit methodologies
• Knowledge of internal auditing
• Experience with IT and controls testing on SAP environments is beneficial
• Experience and interest with data analysis and visualization, and tools including ACL and PowerBI is beneficial
• Knowledge of internal controls and specifically general computer controls
• Knowledge of accounting systems and processes
