Job Summary:

We are looking for an IT Associate with strong technical skills who thrives in a fact-paced environment and enjoys working alongside a collaborative IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the company's technology infrastructure, ensuring that hardware, software, and network systems run efficiently and securely at MAP-C and occasionally supporting Waterloo Tech Centre. This position assists in day-to-day IT operations, provides end-user support, participates in system upgrades and rollouts, and helps maintain IT documentation and asset management. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically inclined, and customer-focused, able to troubleshoot issues effectively while maintaining a professional and supportive attitude with internal staff.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge with Windows operating system Expertise with computer hardware, printers, AV equipment Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 Office Suite of programs General understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) Familiarity with ticketing systems (Jira, HDM) considered an asset Ability to diagnose and correct hardware and software issues

Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals Assist with onboarding/offboarding process including account creation, access setup, and equipment provisioning Maintain a log of service requests through ticketing system and ensure timely resolution Assist in maintaining Active Directory, M365 accounts, and shared resources Support team in routine maintenance, system updates, and patch management PC and network hardware installation and support Software installation, configuration and support Keeping an up to date inventory of all computer hardware and software Investigation of new solutions to address the growing needs of the company Perform related duties as required

Excellent troubleshooting skills and analytical skills Capable of multitasking Self-motivated and efficient in task completion and problem solving. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good work ethic. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Works well individually and as a team.

This job is fully on-site and located in Arthur, ON.
