IT Applications Lead (Customer Relationship Management - CRM)
Advance your career as an IT Applications Lead at Viterra. This position is responsible for leading the CRM IT team in partnering with internal stakeholders to set direction for business and technical solutions. The role will provide proactive and continuous support for process improvement while fostering relationships with IT and business partners. This position also ensures technology solutions meet our corporate direction.
What you'll doLead the selection and development of appropriate software design methods, tools, and techniques. Develop organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for software design and software architectures. Ensure adherence to technical strategies and systems architectures, including security. Lead the impact analysis on major design options, makes recommendations, assesses, and manages associated risks. Develop organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for software construction and refactoring. Plan and lead software construction activities for strategic, large, and complex development projects. Develop new methods and organizational capabilities and drives adoption of, and adherence to policies and standards. Determine testing policy and own the supporting processes including software security testing. Manage risk and takes appropriate action as required. Lead the assessment, analysis, planning, and design of release packages for strategic, large, and complex development projects, including assessment of risk. Liaise with business and IT partners on release scheduling and communication of progress. Conduct post release reviews. Ensure release processes and procedures are applied and that releases can be rolled back as needed. Identify, evaluate, and manage the adoption of appropriate release and deployment tools, techniques, and processes (including automation). Lead the development of architecture for complex application solutions based on business requirements while ensuring solution designs align with corporate governance and policy. Take full responsibility for the balance between functional, service quality, and systems management requirements within a significant area of the organization. Plan and drive activities to implement continuous integration practices, including automated builds and testing, using source control tools. Establish policy and strategy for the selection of solution architecture components, and co-ordinate design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency.

What you bring to our teamSuperior customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a team environment. Demonstrated expert knowledge and understanding of information systems used as well as application programming, database, and system design. Superior understanding of business issues and data challenges of the organization. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. At least 8 years of relevant experience with a post secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline. A minimum five years of Salesforce Sales Cloud administration and development experience. A minimum five years of iPaaS (webMethods, MuleSoft) integration experience. Experience with Salesforce integration with Microsoft Azure DevOps is an asset. Experience with Salesforce 3rd party integration: Plauti, SMS-Magic, Adobe Acrobat Sign, etc. is an asset.
