IT Administrator/Project Coordinator

The IT Systems Administrator/Project Coordinator

plays a crucial role in ensuring BCG's IT systems/processes are efficient and effective, and IT projects are successfully executed; managing and coordinating various aspects of IT systems/processes/projects from start to finish.



The IT Systems Administrator/Project Coordinator will provide essential administrative support for IT systems/processes/projects, facilitate effective communication across the organization, and create/maintain system/process/project documentation.



The IT Systems Administrator/Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating project activities, managing timelines, and monitoring progress to ensure IT projects are delivered in a timely manner and meet all objectives.


Responsibilities:


IT System Administration - 50%


Maintain the company's computer systems, networks, security systems and authorizations. Study and recommend security cameras and fob systems. Maintain the software and infrastructure tools (Microsoft, OneDrive, SharePoint, tax software, custom software, etc). Assist in improving computer systems to ensure network efficiency. Upgrading and installing new hardware and software as necessary, backing up data, and performing data recovery when necessary. Develop and regularly update comprehensive manuals that document internal systems and procedures. Technical onboarding of new employees. Cross-department document management.

IT Project Coordination - 50%


Planning/Execution: Define business requirements, project scope, goals, policies, plans and deliverables for IT projects that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and other stakeholders. Coordination: Monitor project plans, timelines, workflows and budgets for IT projects to ensure projects are on track. Coordinate projects from inception to completion as required, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Oversee the implementation of new/updated systems, software, and hardware. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact operational (system/process/project) success; resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner. Communicate project status, reports, updates, and issues to senior management. Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:




Bachelor's degree in IT Management, Project Management, or a related field. 3-5 years of professional IT experience. Prior experience as a Project Coordinator/Administrator or a similar role. Experience in IT system/project administration, technical documentation, flowcharts, and schedules with the ability to oversee IT infrastructure and implement new systems. High attention to detail to maintain accuracy in IT system/process/project documentation and deliverables. Ability and willingness to engage in continuous learning and stay updated on industry trends and best practices are valuable qualities. Analytical thinking in problem-solving and decision-making processes. Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective team collaboration. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and dynamic environments, ensuring flexibility in approach and solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for effective project coordination. Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Familiarity with relational databases and SQL, PHP, Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM Cloud, AWS, Python, JavaScript, HTML, etc. Experience with VTiger CRM is an asset. PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or PRINCE II certification is an asset
