Position: IT Administrator



Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year



Role Overview



AMC Insurance is seeking a reliable, skilled, and highly organized IT professional to take full ownership of our internal IT environment. You will manage everything from daily troubleshooting to servers, cloud systems, email, user onboarding, branch support, backups, and overall IT maintenance.

This is a hands-on, operational role for someone who enjoys helping users, solving problems quickly, and independently managing IT systems across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities



User Support & Daily Troubleshooting



Provide fast, friendly support to staff across 12 branches (onsite at head office, remote support for other branches, and occasional travel as needed). Troubleshoot daily issues: email errors, login problems, network access, slow computers, and software malfunctions. Support employees with patience, professionalism, and clear communication.

User & Device Management



Set up computers for new employees (hardware, software installation, and security configuration). Create and manage user accounts across Microsoft 365, cloud drives, email systems, and shared resources. Manage permissions, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and shared drives.

Cloud & Server Management



Manage

Azure

Cloud, Outlook/Exchange, cloud storage, OneDrive/SharePoint, and shared network environments. Maintain and monitor Windows servers and network shares. Manage backups, security logs, updates, and server health. Assist management with IT planning, upgrades, and improvements.

Systems, Equipment & Network



Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications. Support internal applications and insurance systems. Ensure printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and branch hardware are functioning correctly. Maintain IT inventory (computers, monitors, accessories).

Security & Compliance



Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and best practices. Manage user access control, security settings, and system policies. Ensure safe handling and protection of customer data. Maintain regular backups and support disaster recovery procedures. Implement and maintain basic cybersecurity measures.

Process & Documentation



Create simple, easy-to-follow guides for staff (email setup, password resets, scanning, etc.). Document IT procedures, inventory, user setups, and troubleshooting steps.

Who We Are Looking For



2-5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or desktop support. Must be

fully familiar with Azure

(Microsoft cloud environment). Strong knowledge of

Microsoft 365, Outlook, Windows systems, and cloud services

. Experience managing servers, shared drives, permissions, and user accounts. Excellent troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills. Friendly, patient communication style (able to support non-technical staff). Organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
