Sunshower Sprinklers is hiring an irrigation installer

Sunshower Sprinklers located in Oak Bluff has been installing and servicing irrigation systems in the Winnipeg area with care and quality since 1994. With a diverse customer base, we strive to create a diverse team. We have a passion for our environment and maintaining beautiful landscapes and expect you too as well. You will be working in a team of 4 people. Starting on the installation crew you will learn the irrigation business and be trained to move up. Responsibilities and Duties:

Installing underground irrigation systems, working with your crew you will plow and hand dig in irrigation pipe at houses and commercial properties.

Work with cutters and crimpers to install sprinkler heads, valves, fittings and pipe.

Install and program Wi-Fi smart irrigation timers

Qualifications and Experience:

Irrigation experience is an asset but not required

Must enjoy troubleshooting/problem solving

Must be physically fit as there will be digging of holes and trenches involved.

Class 5 driver's license with less than 6 demerits so you can drive a company vehicle

Have a positive attitude and a desire to move up within the company

Must take pride in your work

Training:

You will complete the Hunter Irrigation training modules on Hydrawise software and basic irrigation installation and service.

Complete section one of the Irrigation Association program

Complete the Hindsite software training modules. We use this software to create, track, analyze and invoice our service calls and installations

Partake in Sunshower strategy meetings on customer service, efficient and productive team work with field techs

Partake in weekly office and tech meetings
