Position Summary:

We are currently hiring Ironworkers and Welders for a structural installation and modification project in Vernon, BC. The work involves high-precision welding, rigging, and structural steel install. For welders, a valid CWB SMAW All-Position ticket is required. We are also open to skilled Ironworkers without welding certification.

This is a short-term project, but strong performers may be considered for additional work across the Okanagan and BC.

Key Responsibilities:

Weld structural steel using CWB SMAW All-Position procedures

Complete 100% visual weld inspections, with some UT-tested welds

Install structural components per drawings and field adjustments

Operate elevated work platforms and perform work at heights

Perform rigging, bolt-up, layout, and steel modification tasks

Follow all site and company safety procedures

Work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment

Requirements:

Required:

CWB SMAW All-Position certification (for welders)

Ability to work at heights and on structural steel

Experience in commercial or industrial install environments

Nice to Have / Asset:

Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform tickets

(Training available if not current)

Experience with UT or MPI-tested welds, CJP, or structural layout

Ironworker trade experience without welding ticket also accepted
