Are you a proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys accounting and investment administration? First Circle Financial, a successful and established mortgage lending company, is seeking a full-time Investment Accountant to join our team. We're looking for a motivated individual to efficiently process and manage our investment managing our investment accounting and operations. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and enjoys providing excellent client service. If you have accounting or investment administration experience, sharp excel skills, and a positive "can-do" attitude, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Transaction processing and accounting: efficiently process and account for investment transactions (investments, redemptions, transfers, dividends, etc.) Account management and administration: proactively support client investment accounts, including registered plans (e.g. RRSP, TFSA), and maintain accurate, up-to-date investor accounting Reporting and documentation: prepare quarterly investment account statements, annual tax slips, financial reporting, etc. Collaboration: work cross functionally with the Investor Relations team Investor relations: provide backup to the Investor Relations team in maintaining strong relationships with existing investors and developing strong relationships with new investors General accounting: provide backup to the rest of the Accounting team as needed

Key Qualifications:

Experience and knowledge of accounting or investment administration Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accountability Advanced Excel Resourceful problem-solving ability Professional written and verbal communication Effective time management and task prioritization Exceptional interpersonal skills Collaborative attitude and desire to contribute to a positive corporate culture Previous experience working with registered investment accounts (e.g. RRSP, TFSA) Post-secondary education in accounting Proficiency in QuickBooks Online

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
