The Inventory Management Assistant will provide support and coverage to the existing deployment of an inventory system that facilitates accurate tracking and reporting, timely requisitions and efficient resourcing using standard of practice approach and techniques.



QUALIFICATIONS:



Two-year diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum one year of progressive experience with inventory control and management projects Experience in a post-secondary environment an asset Experience using supply chain management software tools (e.g. ERP) Experience working with internal and external stakeholders in a support capacity Demonstrated proficiency with computer and office technology; Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, etc.) Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Sound judgment and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills Willing to travel between sites for the College, and satellite sites In-person, on-campus position - must be able to reliably commute to North Bay, ON

DUTIES:



Support the ongoing inventory projects Collaborate with College stakeholders to maintain standards of practice Provide training to program team members on requirements and systems Work with vendors, consultants, and subject matter experts to ensure latest methods and technology for inventory control are utilized within existing developed processes Collaborate with all College departments in the identification of capital assets and inventory requirements Coordinate with departmental stakeholders on the specifications for products purchased to ensure consistency in supply and stock of necessary goods Conduct routine audits of inventory to ensure consistency with developed standards of practice Other duties as assigned
