What you will be doing

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory Management

  • Coordination of stock transfers in conjunction with Procurement
  • Quarantining of product as required
  • Coordination and management of cycle counts and physical inventories for both SAGE 3PL Specialty clients and Innomar Specialty Wholesale, reconciliation and discrepancy resolution
  • Liaise with 3PL Specialty Clients pertaining to monthly reporting requirements, inventory destruction, physical inventories and returns management
  • Assisting with receiving documentation review, to ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Coordinating the introduction, release of new and current product with Innomar Quality Assurance staff
  • Assist with the reporting and inventory reconciliation requirements pertaining to product recalls
  • Ensuring inventory in the Innomar DCs is checked monthly for expiry. Communicate any pending expiry concerns to applicable departments as required.
  • Create, maintain a listing of substitute items for top kits
  • Clinical Kit Inventory Planning: Coordinating, executing the ramp up of kit inventory for both regular and holiday period(s). Creating and updating planning templates and tools. Alert Warehouse Manager for specific kit production requirements.
  • Act as back-up to the receiver in the functions of:
  • Receiving of products and completion of the receiving inspection documentation
  • Updating system with receipts
  • Drug and medical device inspection of all products
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operational costs
  • Track inventory accuracy, both on purchase orders and returns
  • Identifies and optimizes inventory items and locations within the warehouse to maintain and improve order fulfilment, put away and replenishment tasks.
  • Perform analysis to identify root causes of inventory challenges, predict potential inventory problems, and provide solutions to improve day-to-day inventory movement.
  • Utilizing WMS software and other user-created queries/tools, define requirements for existing or projected storage configurations and provide item placement/move reports to facilitate product movement.
  • Manage item categories and correct storage placement for items such as flammables, aerosols, cytotoxins, controlled substances, chemicals, and frozen/refrigerated goods.
  • Conduct monthly supply consumption
Returns Management
  • Coordination of all returns with customer service
  • Receive and document all customer and supplier returns
  • Reconciling customer returns and supplier credits
  • Working with QA to determine disposition where required
  • All returns received during the first 3 weeks of current month to be processed with disposition finalized by months end
  • Coordinate with clients to manage sample shipments, product returns and destruction authorizations
Admin
  • Assist warehouse management with setting up and reporting on departmental KPIs
Systems Training
  • Required to be trained and understand the operation of the ERP software and be able to function within the system
  • The ability to be trained on and operate the RF scanning guns, for all warehouse related functions
What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Two or more years of experience required
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry
  • Working knowledge of automated warehouse operating system
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Effective organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office Programs
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs daily
