As the Inventory Coordinator Intern you will gain valuable industry experience along with personal and professional skills to begin building your career.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Coordinate and facilitate month-end process and monthly inventory counts at Offsite Warehouse
  • Perform Mock Recalls as directed by Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supervisor
  • Receiving purchased product from Purchase Orders
  • Monitory Lot and shelf life expiration for both raw materials and finished goods including hold release maintenance
  • Confirm shipment of orders
  • Coordination of inventory transfers between departments
  • Troubleshooting inventory anomalies, lot adjustments, inventory adjustments
  • Providing production planning support
  • Receiving of all incoming goods and processing receiving documents
  • Analyzing and reporting any weekly production shortage
  • Reporting on flour and mix production and material issuing
  • Complete Shop Floor processing cycle
The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:
  • Enrolled in a degree or diploma program, in an Agriculture or Supply Chain related field;
  • Experience or background in the agriculture industry would be an asset;
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
  • Forklift certification is an asset
