Job Summary:




Euro Architectural Components a Richelieu's Division is looking for a Team Player who can wear a Leader's hat as Inventory Controller who will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure optimal stock levels, efficient operations, and minimal discrepancies.


This role involves close cooperation with purchasing and warehouse teams to track inventory movement, perform regular stock audits, and implement inventory control procedures. This position requires about 50% of the time working in a warehouse setting and 50% in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities:





Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or errors promptly. Update and maintain accurate inventory data in inventory management systems. Prepare in advance to allocate space in the warehouse for the incoming shipments. Coordinate with purchasing team concerning defective and damage materials upon their receipt from the suppliers. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and opportunities for optimization. Generate inventory reports to restock primary bin locations. Implement and maintain inventory control policies and procedures. Support audits and compliance checks related to inventory. Supervise and train inventory staff to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management. Assist in cycle counting and year-end stock audits. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, following safety and compliance standards

Skills and Qualifications

:



Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. At least 5 years of experience in an inventory management or related role, with a proven track record of achieving performance targets. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Stock picker license is an asset. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel specially in VLOOKUP and Pivot table. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
