We are looking for an Inventory Control Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads with a hands-on approach, and drives operational excellence every day. In this role, you'll lead a high-performing team responsible for inventory control and shipping/receiving, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety while enabling Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach, and performance-manage the inventory, part kitting and shipping & receiving teams, including hiring, training, and performance management Oversee daily inventory activities, ensuring accurate and timely issuance of materials per pick list requirements Communicate missing or delayed components to relevant teams and resolve discrepancies to avoid production delays Maintain accurate inventory records, metrics, and reports for management Identify and implement process improvements in kitting, inventory, and warehouse layout; support cross-training Investigate and resolve receipt or inventory discrepancies, collaborating with internal stakeholders Ensure workplace safety compliance, training recertifications, and coordinate disposition of obsolete inventory

What You'll Bring

Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience 7-10 years in manufacturing/warehouse operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role Proven expertise in inventory control, materials management, and supply chain operations Strong analytical skills with experience using data to optimize inventory and production performance metrics Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/MOS systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills across digital and in-person channels Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, including flexible shifts
