For over 57 years, the dedicated team at Karen\'s Flower Shop has been committed to fostering excellence in everything we do. Today, our third generation family-owned flower shop is looking for a inventory control person that is organized and detailed in the work they do. We look for candidates who enjoy being part of a team, take initiative and love what they do. Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the site inventory management system to ensure:
• Review and monitor stock of all fresh flowers, plants and hard goods and make reports of low stock
• Check with sales and design team on items needed for upcoming special orders
• Ensure the rotation of product (freshness is always of most importance and that hard goods are being used to be able to bring in new trend inventory)
• Other daily tasks will include:
• - Helping unload shipments and putting everything in its place
• - Processing and cleaning flowers for hydration and display
• - Stocking flower fridge and maintaining freshness of the display
• - Stocking of glass vase shelf and all other inventory items
• - Keeping everything clean and organized
• Effectively communicate with team members and management to ensure we are always up to date on all inventory
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Key Requirements:

• Ability to lift 30lb and walk boxes and buckets up and down stairs
• Ability to accommodate schedule to arriving shipments
• This is suitable for someone who can work full-time or split-shift, mornings and evenings or all day
• Extended hours are required during busy floral holidays and when special events are being prepared
