Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented, forward thinking and analytical Inventory Person to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring inventory is properly accounted for and located appropriately. This position requires strong analytical skills and experience with various inventory management systems to support our growing trades business.

Responsibilities



Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability. Receive, label and put parts away appropriately Stage products for upcoming jobs Work closely with department managers and admin to ensure all inventory is accounted for correctly Handle returns and warranty paperwork Count and reconcile inventory Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy and implement corrective actions as needed

Skills required:



Proven experience in inventory control or related fields. Experience in a trades shop would be an asset Working knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop Experience using FieldEdge or similar program would be an asset Strong analytical and math skills Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all tasks. Strong organizational skills Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments Must be able to work well alone and with others Must have a valid driver's licence and clean driving record Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Access Familiarity with using general office equipment (computer, phone, scanner, printer, etc.) College diploma in Business, Administration, Accounting or similar required Must be able to legally work in Ontario

Work Environment:



Fast-paced Trades shop Must wear steel toed footwear at all times Ability to stand, lift heavy items, crouch, sit, walk, reach over head Ability to climb ladders/stools while carrying items Work on a computer and work with general office equipment Ability to work with little supervision
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
